Details:With minimal supervisory direction this position conducts manufacturing support activities including preventive maintenance program requirements, product and process development support, and troubleshooting and resolving problems originating in manufacturing, and assists in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). This level position requires an extensive knowledge base and a high degree of independence.
Experience:
Medical Device experience required (min. 5 years). Stent assembly processing experience desired. Nitinol processing experience desired. High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate Degree or technical certification preferred.
Snapshot of daily duties:
a. Providing manufacturing line support - for example investigating issues which occur, troubleshooting/testing equipment
b. Writing and updating documents (WIs, NCR investigations)
c. Supporting process improvement projects (compliance-related, or to improve yield or efficiency of line) - creating paperwork and conducting training for special manufacturing builds, overseeing testing of product
