Proteus Europe operating as an employment agency, is currently seeking a Senior Underwriting Quality Specialist to work for a permanent role based in Zurich, Switzerland.In this role you will report directly to the Head Technical underwriting.
Your role include directly responsible for a defined part of the team tasks : Technical underwriting.
The main tasks :
Ensuring the law and instructions Conforming our debt underwriting business, the design, implementation and recording of underwriting processes (including governance ,risks and controls)
The implementation of underwriting guidelines as well as design and delegation of powers ,Quality assurance in operational underwriting.
You will be in contact with the CUO, with the Technical Underwriting Director , with the underwriting community, as well as with other business areas (in Switzerland or abroad).
Requirements:
For this role we are looking for a dedicated team player who feels comfortable and happy ties in a varied and challenging environment, new contacts.
You have at least 5-year working experience in the insurance industry (preferably underwriting non-life ) or consulting for insurance and have at least a Bachelor's degree of orientation law or economics.
You like to work in a structured ,process-oriented and independent.
Supervisory and insurance law issues you care as well as quality assurance and risk control in underwriting .
Ideally you will already have experience in project work . You have negotiating skills , are assertive and seek pragmatic solutions.
In addition to the stylistically correct German you can bring your good command of spoken and written. Other European languages are welcome.
