Mainframe Systems Programmer, Unix, Networking, z/OS
Endeavour Recruitment have a fantastic 6 month contract opportunity for a Mainframe Systems programmer to work for our global technology client in Belgium.
You will be responsible for:
- infrastructure,
- 3rd level problem determination,
- incident solving and upgrades of complex products and z/OS.
Work location will be in a first phase Ghent and next Brussels.
This is a 6 month contract with a high chance of extension.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of z/OS base (including JES2, SDSF, TSO, ISPF, Netview and SA/30).
- Knowledge of Unix System Services, Security (RACF), Capacity and Performance (WLM), APPN, VTAM and TCP/IP for z/OS.
- Knowledge and usage of monitoring products (such as RMF, Omegamon, Storage products (DFSMS) and ITIL.
- Knowledge of CICS, DB2 and related products is a plus.
Languages: English, Dutch language skills are an asset.
Flexibility on office hours, depending on project demands is also required.
