Senior SQL Developer/Architect
Montreal Associates are currently looking for Senior SQL Developer/Architect for a 6 months assignment in Stockholm starting ASAP.

Key Skills:
- Design Database in SQL
- Troubleshoot performance issues
- Good skills in developing stored procedures, functions, views, triggers etc.
Senior SQL Developer/Architect Must Have
- Should have worked on gathering/understanding business requirement & design database accordingly from scratch or understand the existing database and enhance on SQL
- Should have very good skills in developing stored procedures, functions, views, triggers etc.
- Should have knowledge on SQL Service broker
- Should have knowledge on SQL Replication
- Should have worked with tools like SQL profiler etc.
- Should have worked on indexing tables & enhancing performance by other means.
- Stay current on vendors' best security practices in relation to organizational requirements.
Senior SQL Developer/Architect Nice to have:
- Should know how to develop a SQL Server unit testing framework
- Having C# knowledge is added advantage
- Knowledge on SSIS is added advantage
Development & Support
- Develops reusable frameworks/components and POCs to accelerate development on projects
- create best practices/approaches to be leveraged by the team,
- Troubleshoots performance issues
- Troubleshoots complex technical issues on projects (act as a "consultant" to the project)
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies.
Architecture & Design
- Participates in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions
- Performs the gap analysis between business requirements and design the configuration, customizations, extensions, interfaces required to meet the requirements
Planning Tracking & Estimation
- Estimates the implementation and deployment of the various modules
- Architect upcoming work with the overall estimates for the project along with any key risks and issues and their mitigation
- Reports progress and issues to the management
- Manager in a timely manner. In particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates
- Works with team on the development of standards, processes and procedures related to application security, upgrade management, capacity planning, application deployment
