Unix/AIX Operations Analyst - Yorkshire - 4 months contract
A leading client based in West Yorkshire urgently requires a UNIX/AIX Operations Analyst for 4 months initially.
You will perform tasks related to the modification and enhancement of FTP UNIX Shell Scripts to change from FTP to FTPS (FTP/TLS). Also, perform modifications to existing script to redirect data to alternative platforms. Amendments to TWS job streams to update job dependencies add new jobs and modify existing. Perform System Testing and User Acceptance Testing of all amended components.
Ideally you will have experience of:
- AIX with emphasis on FTP/TLS
- Unix Shell Scripting, preferably KSH, AWK, SED.
- Tivoli Workload Scheduler (or any other production workload automation tool, CA Autosys, Stonebranch Opswise, Control M) creation and modification of production workloads.
- UNIT and UAT Testing
- Incident Management
