Description

Install Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical) are required by global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the System Install Department, with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers and install leading edge lithographic systems, at the customer site, with quality exceeding the customers’ expectation.

Job Description
Equipment build up (Mechanical and System Install) of the system platform at the customer site:
Move-in, unpack, unlock and mechanically install system modules.
Route and connect cabling + water/gas/vacuum hoses.
Power-on the system and initialize software drivers.
Transfer a fully assembled system, ready to operate, to the system integration team.
Perform administrative and coordination duties incl. reporting and technical escalations.
Contribute to the improvement loop of the platform and processes.
Expected to travel 60 - 75% of the time to customers worldwide.
Expected to work inside the clean room, working with mechanical and electrical equipment.

Requirements
Install Engineers are required:
High level of technical understanding and commitment to self-learning.
Being open minded, team player and be able to use your own initiative.
Troubleshooting and solving system failures.
Drives to achieve high quality of work.
Acknowledges the need to work safe at all times.
Must speak/read/write English.
Ability to work in flexible shift patterns in head quarter and at the customer site.
Commitment to remain within the install department for at least 3 years.

When not working abroad, the engineer is expected to assist Factory operations either at Fianl assembly of the system or at Prepack (De-assembly of the system for shipment).


Education
Mechanical Install Engineer: Degree in Engineering (preferably Precision Mechanics / Mechanics / Mechatroinics);
Electrical Install Engineer: Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of electronics, optics, pneumatics)

Experience
Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Preferred knowledge of (or experience with) electrical wiring and optical fibers

Personal Skills
Analytical thinker. Flexible. Stress resistant. Structured. Able to work independent as well as in a team. Good knowledge of the English language. Good communication skills with focus on reporting, understanding, influencing and supporting. An interest in other technical processes. Self-sufficient. Awareness of various cultural differences.
