Description
My client, a leading principle contractor in the nuclear industry has an urgent requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to work on their North Wales nuclear site.The role will be to assist in the decommissioning of the site and therefore looking for a contractor that will offer their commitment. The client will be looking for at least 3 yrs service so ideally want a candidate that has a history of long term contracts.
Essential -
Current nuclear security clearance
Good working knowledge of the NEC3 form of contract
Typical Quantity Surveyor skills such as cost reporting and negotiating costs and working with vendors to draw up bids for contracts
Desirable -
Understanding of a Magnox ran site
Procurement system Oracle
Project Management software
