Description
A Focus Design Engineer with an expertise in Mathematical Modelling is required by a global leading semiconductor manufacturer on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the Engineering and Development Department, with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers.Job Responsibilities
A Focus Design Engineer is responsible for:
• Specify, test and analyse overlay qualification and calibration tests and report on the results.
• Invent and design new calibration and qualification methods to improve overlay.
• Use statistical methods to show improvements or issues.
• Support the internal and external customers in solving overlay issues.
• Contribute to our overlay roadmap
• Steer a team of multidisciplinary designers and representatives of other sectors.
Job Requirement
• MSc degree (preferably PhD) in physics or equivalent.
• Experience with experimental verification of theoretical models is a must.
• Solid theoretical and/or experimental skills, supported by experience with mathematical modelling (preferably in Matlab), statistics and model verification
Personal Skills
• Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude. Helicopter view, broad scope and team-player.
• Good communicational skills and good command of the English language.
