Automation Engineers at Chaotic Moon are responsible for making sure the machine keeps on moving. Wherever possible you will seek to improve the efficiency of the company and reducing overall cost.
EXPERIENCE:
- Maintaining automation test frameworks and development of relevant test scripts
- Ability to perform a cost-benefit analysis for test automation on both short-term and long-term company projects
- Programming experience utilizing languages such as Java or Objective C
- Able to work in a Linux-based environment
- Thorough understanding of basic QA/Automation concepts and practices
- Understand what Git Flow is as well as how to utilize git on a local environment
- Has used bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, FogBugz or Devtrack and has experience using the administrative features.
- Thorough understanding of APIs and experience interfacing with them
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Create and maintain automation test frameworks, primarily for, but not limited to, Android and iOS mobile applications
- Development and maintenance of tools where applicable to improve company performance and efficiency
- Create and execute test plans as well as develop automated scripts to reduce the manual testing effort and cost per project
- Maintain and improve upon a continuos integration and deployment system
- Share knowledge of latest automation technologies with the company and how they may apply to our current infrastructure
- Manage company tools, including but not limited to GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, HockeyApp, Testflight and JIRA.
- Work closely with developers and project managers in order to understand and better automate aspects of the development process
