Web Sphere Delivery Specialist

My client is looking for a experienced IBM Websphere developer who experience developing, installing and maintaining complex Java (J2EE) environments.

The chosen candidate will able to use their previous knowledge and skills to develop technical solutions aligned to the business requirements, providing guidance and direction to off-shore partners, whilst providing full technical support, including incident and problems resolution. The system itself supports 95% of the banks applications, which is aiding the development of one of the latest products in the market with 3,000 plus colleagues using the application.

This is a fantastic opportunity with an exciting salary to work for a world leading retail bank. You will be given the opportunity to provide specialist knowledge to input into the strategic direction of applications, technologies, tools or business processes within the platform, ensuring the integrity of technical applications and technology is maintained at all times.

Key Skills;
  • IBM Websphere 6/ 7 / 8
  • Linux / Aix
  • ClearCase or ClearQuest
  • Experience in delivering complex projects.


Desirable Skills:
  • IBM Websphere Process Server
  • IBM Websphere Content manager
  • IBM Caching Edge Proxy
  • J2EE Environments
