The developer will work as part of a team, in a fast-paced agile environment, anticipating delivery in short development cycles.
The OBIEE Developer will be responsible for Design & Development of various types of OBIEE reports and components to visualize Risk Analytic Data. The position involves working closely with Data Architects, Database and Application Developers and Business Users in OBIEE and Oracle 11g
Primary Responsibilities
Develop Reporting Visualizations based on OBIEE aligned with newly build data warehouse
Implement Oracle 11g database structures and tune database performance
Assist in the estimation, planning, and management of work within an agile environment
Work closely with the project manager, product line architect, business analyst, developers, QA testers, and administration groups to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions that are right-sized, and scalable
Qualifications
BS or MS degree in an IT related discipline.
5+ years of experience in IT.
Experience and expertise in Linux x86 and software (OBIEE 11g, Oracle 11g, OBI DAC 10x).
Advanced Oracle OBIEE 11g experience including:
Knowledge of infrastructure and architecture.
Metadata repository (rpd)
Utilization of Answers (Analysis in 11g), Dashboards, iBots/Delivers and BI Publisher
Development of interactive reports, dashboards, scorecards
Integration with external security models
Customization of skins and styles
MS Office Integration, Scheduler
Performance tuning
Metadata features including double column feature, various hierarchies, lookup tables, parent-child dimensions and incremental RPD patching.
Master detail reports, Action Frameworks, KPIs, spatial and map integration, complex reports, charts and graphs, chart zoom and sliding interactive viewer in BI publisher
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts including dimensional modelling.
Advanced knowledge and proven record in consulting and implementing BI Architecture and Business Intelligence tools.
Experience with user interface design and working directly with Business users.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other contributors across the organization.
Must be an organized, self-starter with a collaborative work style, customer service focus, and ability to multitask.
Financial industry experience a plus.
Experience of Sharepoint 2010 desirable
