Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for completion of projects from the quotation process through execution. This includes monitoring of pricing and materials, acting as a liaison for the shop/management/customer and ensuring deadlines and specifications of projects are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and analysis of data such as customer design proposals, drawings, industry codes and equipment manuals.
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Develop flow diagrams to ensure products and designs conform to engineering designs and customer specifications.
  • Ensure project engineering work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Develop bills of material and shop notes meeting customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with drafting to develop drawings for departments and customers.
  • Assist the shop with assembly and shipping requirements for each unit.
  • Provide updates of design status, drawings, bill of materials and buyouts.


Skills/Tools:
  • Ability to read PNID's.
  • Must be able to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to work with multiple work groups and in a team oriented environment.
  • Superb customer service, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Effective time management, planning and organizing skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Compression and sizing


Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university.
  • 8 to 10 years relevant professional experience in oilfield, chemical, or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Effective leadership and teambuilding skills.


Physical Demands:
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
