Description
I am currently seeking an Information Governance Manager to work in the South West of England on an interim basis, for 3 months. You will be required to have:- To be responsible for the annual submission of the Information
Governance Toolkit
- To be responsible for the delivery of the Information
Governance Action Plan
- To co-ordinate and ensure deliverance of an improvement plan
to ensure compliance with National Standards
- To be responsible for managing the IG Toolkit within the Trust
- To work with and support the Trust leads for other aspects of Information Governance ensuring the Trust works towards the highest possible attainment level for the Information Governance standards.
- To work closely with Information Asset Owners providing advice, guidance and support where necessary and co-ordinate the completion of work in order to meet the requirements of the IG Toolkit
- To attend meetings of the Information Governance Steering Group and deliver progress reports on improvement to the Information Governance Action Plan
- Previous NHS experience in a senior management role
- Proven recent experience of managing/supervising teams
- Experience of records management
- Experience of working in Information Governance including the
Information Governance Toolkit, the Data Protection Act 1998 &
Freedom of Information Act 2000
- Information Security
- Experience of report writing
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills at all
levels and across a multidisciplinary team
