SQL Server developer required - 3-4 months, ManchesterSQL Server developer is required for 3-4 months in Manchester for a public sector organisation. The role has arisen due to an expansion in the business intelligence team due to exciting new projects. You will be responsible for the day to day performance tuning of the database as well as development of SSIS/ETL processes.
Type: 3-4 month (initial - possibility to extend)
Rate: £225 to £325 per day - DOE
Location: Manchester

Essential
- Strong SQL Server 2012 experience
- Data warehousing - type 2 dimensions
- Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing technologies
- T-SQL (Transact SQL) Stored Procedures and Triggers
- SQL Profiling/debugging tools experience
Desirable
- SSIS
- Experience in ETL using SSIS
- SSAS
Job description
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports
- Ensure information developments are achievable and the reporting outputs are delivered
- Troubleshooting SQL and Business intelligence tools, systems
- Performance-tune these applications as necessary
- Everyday development of data warehouses
