At Bloc, we’re building the apprenticeship model online so that apprentices can study under and learn from mentors anywhere in the world. Bloc does not offer courses or bootcamps – we believe in the apprenticeship model, and that’s what we offer. Responsibilities:
We’ve turned hundreds of students into web developers through our apprenticeship model of teaching. As the iOS Director you’ll help us expand our platform into iOS development by working with our editorial team to write an iOS roadmap for new apprentices, helping us hire talented iOS mentors, and mentoring a few students of your own. Overall, you’ll be responsible for the direction of the Bloc iOS apprenticeship program, with the goal of creating quality iOS developers that work in and give back to the iOS community at-large.

Compensation
We’re serious about finding an outstanding iOS mentor who can code, teach and write about their craft. This is a full-time position with a generous salary, health care benefits, unlimited paid time off, and stock options.

Location
We’re located in the financial district of San Francisco, but you can work anywhere with a fast internet connection.

Requirements:

First hand experience designing and building sophisticated iOS applications.

Expertise to help build a comprehensive curriculum for new iOS developers.

Passion about sharing your craft with others.
