A popular hedgefund in Chicago is actively seeking a Java/Spring Software Developer to join their team of traders and quants. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to use hands- on development skills to develop new technology. This is a full time position located in downtown Chicago.The team is working with complex and revenue generating applications. Highly qualified candidates will have:
-Extensive knowledge of agile development methodologies
-Ability to manage complex, high priority application from beginning to end
-Flexibilty on UI and Server Side development
- Assist in the modeling of credit and counterparty risk strategies
-Experience with linux operating systems
