If interested please send an updated resume to:Progressive Global Energy has been requested by a leading E&P company to find a pipeline accountant to be a Pipeline Specialist in an E&P owned pipeline. The pipeline is just less than 3,000 miles and is a common carrier and storage system. With their people being their greatest asset they will be looking to ad a motivated individual for the role of Pipeline Specialist.
A qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business field
- 3 to 5 year of oil pipeline accounting experience
- Experience with SAE STAR system preferred but not a must
- Experience with pipeline accounting
- Experience with tariff Invoices
- The ability to read and interpret meter and tank tickets and also shippers' monthly invoices
- The ability to meet deadlines, which may include working flexible hours
Experience that will lead to a successful candidate:
- Support regulatory filings and prepare tariff documents
- Implement and maintain filing and tracking systems, document filings and postings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Capable of handling multiple jobs simultaneously while independently planning projects
As a Pipeline Service Specialist you will:
- Create and oversee Pipeline Shipper Statements and invoices of tariffs
- Properly account entries in SAE STAR system to analyze and confirm nominations, allocations and tickets
- Create and oversee internal and external reports to ensure data is correctly represented including federal and state agency reports
- Communicate changes in regulations and other industry affecting issues
- Use the AOPL Tariff Committee to monitor FERC orders
- Perform monthly STAR close out
