Description
The successful ETL Engineer will carry the following responsibilities:-Develop detailed ETL specifications based on business requirements.
-Utilise ETL apps and analyse data to resolve issues uncovered and related to the source data.
-Defines, develops, documents and maintains ETL mapping and scripts.
-Develop ETL test plans and test ETL codes.
-Performs ETL tuning as well as SQL tuning.
-Demonstrates success working in a team based environment.
I would be interested in speaking to anybody with a strong technical background in ETL, a wider knowledge of the ETL tools available on the market and their individual merits, and with a knowledge / experience of java based ETL for big data / cloud. Candidate from a consultancy background would be especially strong for this position due to the project based, client facing nature.
