Description
This is an exciting position for an experienced SIEM Arcsight professional to provide a high quality service in designing and maintaining a global leveraged Arcsight SIEM.You will join an energetic and experienced Architecture/Engineering team as a SIEM specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Arcsight. This Arcsight role will provide you with an opportunity to work in a exciting business area developing capabilities within the Security Operations Centre (SOC) division.
You will join the Technical Arcsight Lead Team, the role is to support the global SOC's in being able to successfully manage the infrastructure and tools.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical Arcsight architect / SIEM lead technical contact
- Work with the customer/accounts to design and deliver appropriate technical SIEM / Arcsight solutions
- Drive technical improvement of the SIEM Arcsight managed service and tools used to deliver service to these customers
- Maintain SIEM Arcsight documentation of the managed infrastructure
- Engage with other operational centers, assisting technically where appropriate
- Provide training on the managed infrastructure and technology to other teams
- Mentor and advise other teams
- Act as a Technical escalation point for the delivery teams within the organisation
Requirements
- 5 years IT experience of customer delivery/customer services
- Excellent documentation skills, preferably within a SIEM Arcsight delivery
- Evidence of providing training to small/medium groups
- Experience of working within a SOC
- Experience of working on projects especially SOC/SIEM/Arcsight
- Evidence on architectural and content design within Arcsight
- Evidence of trouble-shooting skills on Arcsight
- Evidence of dealing with escalations, both service and technical in Arcsight
- Experience in managing customers from a service perspective
