* Initial 6 month contract

THE CANDIDATE
CNC Grinder
Are you looking for a new contract within the motorsport industry? Are you an experienced CNC Grinder? If so I am currently recruiting for a top motorsport company who are ramping up production, this is an exciting time to join a very fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* To set, operate and run CNC Studer Grinding Machines.
* To carry out programming and editing functions using Fanuc controls and pictogramming to produce high quality components to drawing specification and quality.
* To establish best machining methods when required.
* To design and manufacture work holding fixtures and devices within practical reason, or liaise with tooling/production engineers regarding design.
* To undertake day to day machine maintenance, coolant change, lubrication levels.
* To be able and willing to operate additional machines when required.
* To record a comprehensive set up procedure document regarding new work undertaken.
* To carry out nital etch inspection when required.
* To liaise with design and production engineers when necessary.
* To reliably record setting and production times using system current at the time.
