Chase Resourcing, In association with our clients in the UAE, an Institution of Further Education have an immediate requirement for an Chief Executive Officer.

You are required to be a senior executive who excels at providing  innovative, strategic and operational leadership, which will position my clients at the forefront of best industry practices in the fields of corporate education and training, applied research, and technology transfer and meet growth targets that are annually set by the Board.

As an experienced CEO, you will excel at developing corporate plans that fosters and supports start-ups of small and medium sized technology / innovation companies within the MENA region. You will also be expected to expand the commercial enterprise in each of the strategic areas and ensure the promotion and growth of revenue, profitability and reputation.

Academic Qualifications

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) MA in Educational Leadership

Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role for a corporation or university is required
  • Experience in setting up start-up ventures as small and medium technology companies
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of commercial proposal development, contract administration, negotiations, business planning and change management
  • Experience in developing corporate training and education solutions
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
  • Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Ability to develop financial plans, manage resources and negotiation contracts
  • Knowledge of communication, marketing and public relation techniques
  • Ability to motivate teams.
  • Ability to source grants for applied research and innovative projects
  • Experience designing and implementing quality assurance and institutional change processes
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong management or leadership skills
  • Previous leadership experience within a climate of growth, rapid change or transformation
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Overseas work experience within a multi-cultural environment would be advantageous
  • Arabic language skills considered a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops an annual plan and budget,
  • Researches and investigates compliance issues of immediate or potential institutional concern
  • Produces regular and ad hoc reports and analysis on Divisional activities and programs
  • Keeps abreast of developments in the Education sector
  • Develops strategic links with members of industry and other higher education institutions
  • Participates in the recruitment and selection of staff
  • Demonstrates a commitment to  professional development initiatives for all employees
  • Develops an awareness of and respect for the customs and cultures of students and employees
  • Develops a strategic corporate plan to advance revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization with appropriate metrics.
  • Oversees  day to day operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
  • Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and revenues
  • Identifies acquisition and merger opportunities and analyze the cost & benefits of potential opportunities
  • Approves company operational procedures, policies, and standards
  • Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions
  • Evaluates performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives
  • Represents the company through written articles and engagement with the press
  • Promotes the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies
  • Builds a fundraising network
  • Presents company reports as required
  • Oversees planning & policy-making committees
  • Oversees foreign operations to include evaluating operating and financial performance,
  • Communicates with all levels of management and the board of directors; Partner institutions; Client organizations;
