Oracle Database Administrator ( 10g, 11g, Exadata, SQL, RAC, RMAN, ASM, Linux ) £50-52k+ benefits - London (city)An Oracle Database Administrator ( 10g, 11g, Exadata, SQL, RAC, RMAN, ASM, Linux ) is required for a Global Brand to provide 3rd line support for all production database environments consisting of in house developed software (PHP/Oracle), CRM (Siebel) and ERP (SAP). The chosen Oracle Database Administrator ( 10g, 11g, Exadata, SQL, RAC, RMAN, ASM, Linux ) will work closely with project teams on the design, development and build of new production, staging, test and development databases. The Oracle Database Administrator ( 10g, 11g, Exadata, SQL, RAC, RMAN, ASM, Linux ) would join a team working with the latest Oracle technologies on Oracle Exadata Environment with Linux OS. For releases and emergency cases, some work may be required outside normal hours.
Essential
- 6-8 years of experience in a corporate IT environment as an Oracle DBA
- Excellent knowledge of designing, testing, tuning & maintenance of Oracle 10g and 11g (Ideally OCP)
- Good working knowledge of SQL Server
- Experience with Oracle Grid Control 11g or 12c OEM
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Excellent knowledge of RAC, RMAN, ASM & Data Guard
- Good knowledge of scripting, OS & PL/SQL
Desirable
- Comfortable with Database and Clusterware patching on Linux OS environment
- Working knowledge on Exadata systems
- Familiar with ITIL Framework
