Site Supervisor

Our client, a major mobile telecommunication company are looking to recruit a site supoervisor to join their team in Dublin. The site supervisor is responsible for a number of sites from Cradle to grave in the rollout process ie Site survey to acceptance document submission.

The responsibilities are:

  • Required to visit radio sites during site survey, which will be attended by Design and I&C ASP and a customer representative.
  • Site supervisors will attend Pre Construction Meetings (PCM) for the handover between the Design and I&C ASPs.
  • At the time of receiving the PND, the site supervisor checks that the design conforms to the customer requirements and expectations and approves the design.
  • Approves the Bill of Materials (BoM) which is uploaded by the ASP to site handler before it is sent to the logistics partner for fulfilment.
  • Required to visit sites again for at least the last day of site build/integration.

During the time spent on the site build:

  • The site supervisor monitors the ASP activities to ensure work is carried out to the required standard
  • The site supervisor reports back to the relevant ADM on any problems which occurred on site
  • Attends the Post Construction Survey (PCS) to ensure the on site works match what was proposed in the design phase.
  • Based on experience and observations in the field site supervisors will propose process and product improvements which can be made to contribute to the continuing quality of the overall rollout program.
  • Required to handle any questions and correspondence which is required between Ericsson and customer/ASP representatives for the sites which are assigned to them.

Site supervisors should have the following personal traits and qualities:

  • Focused on quality of implementation and results orientated
  • An eye for detail and keen observation skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship management
  • Good time management skills and ability to manage own schedule
  • University degree in civil engineering, telecommunications or relevant degree or relevant work experience.
  • On site experience installing, upgrading and/or supervising works on Ericsson or other vendor radio sites.
  • Proficient using Microsoft office suite and reading/commenting on design drawings.
  • Customer and site specific accreditations including but not limited to the below.

SafePass, Garda Accreditation, Eircom Accreditation, Towercom Accreditation, ESB Accreditation, Vodafone Passport, CIE Accreditation
