My client is a large E&P Oil and Gas company looking for a Production Engineer to join its office in Houston, TX.
***NOTE: Normally this client requires its candidates to come from other E&P companies, but for this position, exceptional candidates from service companies will be considered.***
Job Description:
- Well surveillance: production improvement on wells, facilities, and operations
- Improve production through optimization and stimulation of wells
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Support technical and field staff
- Project management of recompletions of existing wells from planning to execution
- Provide cost evaluations and assessments
- Coordinate reviews with field personnel
Requirements:
- 7-12 years of experience within Oil & Gas (Service or E&P companies)
- Background can be a mix of disciplines including subsurface, drilling & completions, reservoir, etc. but recent experience in production operations is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Artificial lift experience
- Diagnose, measure, and improve the operation of artificial lift systems (rod pump, gas lift, ESP)
- Identify, develop, execute, and post-appraise workover & completions projects
- Subsurface operations processes experience
