QA, Quality Assurance Tester, logistics, SQLWe are urgently seeking a Tech QA Tester to work in Eindhoven
The role of the Tech QA Tester is to perform and coordinate system verification test activities. Additionally, the QA Tester is responsible for establishing, maintaining and implementing the test methods and procedures necessary for the verification of business applications.
The QA Tester actively participates in all phases of the testing cycle.
The QA Tester produces weekly progress report to the QA manager.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES
Responsible for testing in accordance with the Test Approach of the project.
Reports to QA/Test Manager the test progress and issue status.
Perform system verification testing activities to include Unit, Integration, Systems Acceptance, Regression, Stress/Volume, Testing and inspections.
Additionally the QA Tester supports the test execution during User Acceptance Testing.
The QA Tester is responsible for documenting test plans, test cases and test scripts and performing final test execution and certification.
KNOW-HOW, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Education Level: Bachelor degree in computer science, I.S., business management, information technology
Experience: 3-5+ years industry experience in the logistics industry, operating networks and warehouse management such as slotting, allocation, picking, packing, shipping, receipts and returns would be an advantage. Candidate that has logistics experience specific to the Service Parts Logistics industry preferred but not essential.
Skills: Advanced Technical skills; SDLC & Software Testing principles; Adv. skills in application development & testing practices. Excellent analytical capabilities, interpersonal & oral/written comm. skills; knowledge of mainframe, minicomputer, or microcomputer. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be capable of working under pressure and working within a team through difficult, long-term projects.
Must have experience in the following areas:
1 Knowledge and experience with Testing and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies
2. Experience creating and documenting test plans including estimates
3. Familiar with creation and test cases and test scripts
4. Familiar with database schema and SQL
5. Familiar with testing management tools such as HP Quality Centre and PVCS Tracker
6. Experience with web based applications
7. Familiar with automated testing tools such as HP QTP
8. Experience using load/volume test generators such as HP LoadRunner
