Web Application Tester/QA Vacancy - £25k - £35kLooking for a QA Tester, with 1-3 years' experience, who tests products to perfection while understanding how to prioritise issues to get products delivered quickly and at the optimal quality.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and execute test plans and test cases from functional specifications
- Work closely with developers/business Specialists to identify and raise bugs
- You will have the ability to review and improve test coverage
- Read data from database and generate excel data by applying math functions
- Whilst this role is predominately manual testing the company is moving as much as possible toward automated testing so there are opportunities to get involved with that too
- To make recommendations on improvements to testing and checking processes
Requirements:
- Strong in testing concepts and methodologies
- Ability to understand functional specifications and different test scenarios
- Working knowledge of Automated testing desirable and/or concepts of automated testing
- Good understanding of Internet environments, browsers and technologies
- A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project management
- A good awareness of system and data risks
- SQL, TDD/BDD, Microsoft Visual Studio
- Ideally you should have at least 12 months of solid experience in Manual and/or Automated Testing of web based applications
- Knowledge of Defect tracking systems (TFS Defect Tracking System)
