Description
SQL Developer / ArchitectSQL Developer / Architect is required for a Software house based in Sheffield. You will be responsible for manipulating the data, aggregation and query generation. You will be working closely with the director and the end clients Senior Management as well as their in house development team. As pert of your current project you will be responsible for design implementation of Information Security Data Warehouse environment.
Required:
- SQL server
- SQL scripting, stored procedures and scheduled jobs
- Experience with data mining, monitoring, and tuning with very large data sets.
- ETL experience by creating mappings/processes using Informatica is preferred
- Versed in Data Warehousing methods, models, and technologies
- Ability to design and normalize relational databases
- Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Vision
Desirable
- SQL Server 2012

- Hadoop knowledge is preferred
