The business are an award-winning startup providing online payments for SME's corporate clients and white-labelled services for other payment providers.
They are expanding further to meet increasing demand with an immediate requirement for a highly talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java, Dart) to help design and build new software applications.
The client are looking for 5 years' experience and for someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with shifting priorities. A collaborative approach where initiative and new ideas are welcomed.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Design and build new software applications
* Maintain existing software and technical specifications
* Perform unit and integration testing for 100% code coverage on existing components and new.
* Assist with both internal and external support. Troubleshoot development and production.
Essential Skills & Qualifications (must have)
* Experience with programming in Java
* Knowledge of a dynamic programming language such as Python or JavaScript
* Experience working with Linux, Apache and MySQL
* Experience in software debugging and unit testing
Desirable Skills (nice to have)
* Knowledge of payments industry
* Experience of REST architecture
* Experience implementing web services
* Knowledge of at least two of: Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, Django
* Experience working in PCI-DSS compliant environment
* Knowledge of full-stack web technologies
