A educational institution based in Greater London has a requirement for an Information Development Manager, who will have responsibility for leading the on-going management of HR information in relation to HESA staff return.
The Information Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development of the HR/Payroll database for Human Resources and contributing to the system development strategy with IIS and Finance.
The post-holder must have strong experience in HESA staff return and a substantial track record of working within Higher Education Sector.
The Information Development Manager will provide regular reports, updates and risk management information for the HR senior management team to support HR business planning.
The role is based in a high performing team with a strong service delivery ethic, meaning the post-holder will be responsible for maintaining excellent levels of team service and will be involved in developing interventions to improve this.
The successful candidate will manage and lead 4 full time employees and will be required to provide specialist guidance on systems and analysis.
Essential - Degree level or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
5 years experience in the Higher Education Sector
Experience of HESA staff returns
Working knowledge of an HR database (e.g. Oracle HRMS)
Desirable - Intermediate Microsoft Visio
Knowledge of social media web technologies
Experience of working within an ITIL framework
