My client, a well-known player in the banking industry, is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer.
The Contractor I'm looking for will help in the development of a new Java application which will manage the office network. Within the team, the Senior Java Developer will be involved in the technical analysis, development, documentation and first testing of this new application. This application will manage elements such as offices, leases, and office employees. The senior developer will work on this project for at least 9 - 12 months.
You have at least 5 years of experience in Java environments. Therefore, you have proven skills of Java J2EE in a Spring, Hibernate and Maven framework. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Junit and JBoss. Good knowledge of SDLC and tomcat is nice to have. Having experience with building new applications from scratch is an added value. Experience with Agile development is an asset for this position. Also having experience in banking industry is a plus. You are a hands-on, critical person who takes initiative to deliver constructive propositions for improvement. Finally, for this project you are able to speak Dutch and English fluently.
