Markets Logistics Manager

Our client, a major mobile telecommunications company are looking for a markets logistics manager to join their tezm in Dublin.

The Market Logistics Management (MLM) executes orders for all products and services included in the contract (eg frame agreements). The Market Logistic Management function works in the Order Management process with customer orders and material procurement.

The job supports customer contracts regarding Supply activities in the execution and follow-up phases of the deliveries and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. The main purpose of the job is to contribute to an efficient execution of the order handling.

The MLM job has two job stages:

MLM1 (Logistician) - unified transaction driven stage, generally part of a Central Order Desk (COD)

  • Receive repetitive customer orders, verify them from commercial and technical point of view against customer contract conditions
  • confirm and follow-up the customer orders
  • Create and follow up sales orders in ONE
  • Create purchase orders and follow up until vendor shipping advice receipt
  • Create Customer invoice if 100% clarified
  • Act on order deviations (new delivery dates from suppliers, new delivery plans from customers) based on MLM2 approval
  • Perform any massive/bulk data maintenance/handling
  • Initiate corrections of Master Data

MLM2 (Senior logistician) - customer customized transaction driven stage, generally part of the local Market Supply Center (MSC).

  • Receive customer orders, verify them from commercial and technical point of view against customer contract conditions, confirm and follow-up the customer orders
  • Create and follow up sales orders in ONE
  • Create purchase orders, follow up of PO release and vendor delivery
  • Create delivery in case of delivery from stock (and for projects if agreed so)
  • Create Customer invoice
  • Handle and execute order change requests
  • Act on order deviations (new delivery dates from suppliers, new delivery plans from customers)
  • Initiate corrections of Master Data
  • Support to MLM1
  • Solves PO related GR/IR issues
  • Keeps PO order book control

Essential:

  • Some financial acumen - raising projects in SAP
  • Invoicing,
  • Closing projects in SAP.
  • Admin tasks also required to update the project database with the output from SAP.
  • Good communication skills as liaising with many different parts of E.
