The Functional Consultant will work with Taleo to produce system documentation, liaise with Taleo support and the business on issue resolutions and change requests and assist with system configuration

One aspect of this programme within the resourcing stream is to implement one eRecruitment tool (Taleo) across the bank. The aim is to deliver this with a global recruitment process whilst recognising legal local requirements by country where applicable.

The eRecruitment Functional Consultant Role Consultant will work with Taleo and the business to gather requirements, produce system documentation, liaise with Taleo support and the business on issue resolutions and change requests, assist with system configuration and support with testing

Core accountabilities
  • Translate business operations and objectives into requirement/design documentation to support the aims of the Programme/Project
  • Define functional and non-functional requirements
  • Produce functional and non-functional specifications
  • Able to produce/document project deliverables at all phases from initiation through to closure
  • Working with multiple Business Units across a diverse stakeholder group, up to Senior Manager level, with different demands and communication needs
  • Supporting users with the resolution of functional system issues and queries as required
  • Identifying system improvements, including identification and incorporation of best practices from other leading organisations.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on Taleo
  • Help configure the Taleo system modules including Recruiting, Scheduling Centre, Passports, eQuest and onboarding
  • Help with development and execution of test scripts for system testing and UAT

Role requirements

Essential
  • Structured, well organised, attention to detail
  • Taleo functional expertise (preferably Taleo 12)
  • Solid communication skills with ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organisation up to Executive level
  • Process mapping and requirements definition expertise
  • Ability to interface effectively with client counterpart


Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in gathering Management Information business requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience of Taleo software release processes, including delivery of feature and maintenance packs.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing Taleo into financial institutions, globally.


Professional/technical experience
  • In-depth track record of Taleo project experience.
  • Experience in requirement gathering
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
