Description
The IT Auditor may have autonomous experience in Information Technology perhaps as a technician or engineer, as well as a thorough background in performing Infrastructure audits around Operating Systems, Networks, Servers, Firewalls and Databases.Successful IT Audit applicants will have a background in delivering a wealth of audit services and hail from an internal or Big 4 IT audit background experience is a MUST in this position. Also essential, in this position is a varied experience and broad understanding of IT systems (governance, developments, production, risks and control). A solid comprehension of at least three of the following six is also important as my client operate in within the confines of a large technical audit universe;
- Windows
- Unix
- As400
- SQL (Server)
- DB2
- Oracle
The role is based in the North West / Yorkshire of the UK with candidates needing to be able to live in close proximity to the site to be considered for the role.
