We are currently looking for a Team Leader Software Architect for to work with a market leading surveying solutions company. Our client is looking for a candidate to assist in the development, production and distribution of services which offer innovation, precision , reliability and efficiency .The Geospatial Solutions Division is the leading global supplier of systems and products in the field of aerial survey and analytical and digital photogrammetry . For the management of the software development of technologically advanced digital sensor systems we are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Team Leader Software Architect to be based in Heerbrugg.
Main tasks will include:
Leading a team of engineers and external partners in the development of software for processing of aerial and laser scan data
Develop and expand the software architecture and interfaces to other products
Management of project resources and schedules in a global environment
Cooperation with the product management and partners to define the next steps
Control of development progress and implementation of measures to increase the efficiency and transparency of the projects
Continuous improvement of software performance and efficiency of the overall solution
Evaluation and benchmark new technologies
The ideal candidate will have :
A degree in computer science , photogrammetry or a related discipline
At least five years of experience in developing software in C / C + + and the design of software architectures , is also QT experience desirable
Experience in the management of software projects with a focus on achievement of goals and ROI
Team player with good communication skills in English and German
Practical experience in the application of agile development methods and in the processing of aerial and laser scan data is advantageous
Willingness to travel (up to 20 %)
