MI Reporting Analyst - Edinburgh - £35kWe are currently working closely with our major UK retail banking client for an MI Reporting Analyst, with a Financial Services background in Credit Risk or Fraud being ideal.
You will be responsible for:
Owning and optimising application Fraud Strategies.
Pro-actively extracting and analysing data with SAS / SQL and produce accurate and timely MI reports for senior Stakeholders.
Recommending solutions to optimise fraud detection and implement new strategies to mitigate losses.
Desired Skills:
You will be experienced with SAS OR SQL in manipulating large data sets in the production of MI reports.
You will be a strategic thinker and have previous experience linking the results of the data analysis to the implementation and optimisation of new Acquisition strategies.
You will be a strong communicator across all levels including reporting to stakeholders
Additional Beneficial Qualities:
Previous experience managing junior analysts
A background/ understanding of fraud typologies
A knowledge of Credit or Fraud Models and how to implement them strategically
This role is being offered with a salary rate up to £36,000 + p/annum (dependant on relevant experience) + generous benefits package.
