Position Title: NDS Engineer SDM/One
Locations: Dallas Texas
The ideal candidate will be tasked to Support of SDM products such as but not limited to HLR-FE, One-NDS, One-EIR, PGW, nSignia, and HSM, including following activities:
Commissioning, integrating, and troubleshooting; Technical support into customer networks; Responsible for overall performance of the SDM products, Supporting customer for end-to-end support; Participate in 24/7 emergency on-call support; Provide proactive maintenance service support and delivery; Support change management service delivery; Organize and participate in pilot and roll-out upgrades and patch installations, New technology support and Service deployment; Provide technical answers, Share technical information and provide competence transfer; Ensure quality customer satisfaction survey targets are met; Consult with customers regarding optimization, planning, feature activations, and other improvements
Technical and Requirements:
BS Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or equivalent Technical Competence IMS/SDM/One-NDS/One-AAA Has excellent IP and Unix experience and skills Has excellent knowledge in network technologies, including TCP/IP, routing/switching, network security, Network Management, DNS, Radius, LDAP, 3GPP interfaces, etc.
Has advanced troubleshooting skills on IP, Unix or Linux. Can independently use network analyzers and tools to troubleshoot difficult network problems.
It's preferred to have professional certificates:
Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, HPUX Admin, Sun Solaris Admin, Redhat RHCE and Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP
Strong knowledge and experience in customer interface preferred.
Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills.
Self motivated well-organized individual who can prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to interact with a variety of people and work well with others in a fast paced environment.
Strong customer communication skills.
Ability to work and learn independently.
Willing to travel - 30%
