Next Ventures is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Project Lead (Senior BA/PL) for one of our clients, working in close collaboration with and in support of the combined process improvement project teams.

Skills/Experience
- Strong knowledge of international good clinical practices (ICH) and understanding of current regulatory requirements (FDA, EMEA) related/applicable to the conduct of clinical trials
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant scientific/health-related field, business administration or management information systems
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical drug development. A background in medical writing, trial management, proposal/contract management, QA auditing would be considered relevant
- Proven experience as a business systems analyst, gathering and documenting processes, developing new business processes and recommending solutions in a relevant clinical operations area
- Proven experience in project management, coordination and tracking
- Fully conversant with Visio, Microsoft (MS) Office and MS Project. Functional knowledge of how to work within a SharePoint environment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in conceptualizing, documenting and communicating business processes. Ability to read, understand and interpret process maps/flowcharts
- Ability to see the big picture as well as the details, and to be able to ask the right questions to gain insight into the business practices and interdependencies
- Excellent written and spoken English, in order to interact effectively in an international environment. Spoken French is considered to be an advantage
- Ability to prioritize assignments in accordance with assigned project deadlines
- Strong facilitation skills: ability to lead effective cross-location teams through discussions on complex and potentially controversial topics
- Ability to anticipate problems, changes, impacts, consequences, and delays; work proactively and take the initiative to implement corrective measures
- Ability to recognize issues that may require escalation to management level
- Ability to multi-task, handling a wide range of assignments in parallel and dealing with urgent issues as they arise
- Detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills, ability to drive and obtain consensus
Responsibilities
- Consolidate information collected by business analysts assigned to specific process improvement projects, and finalize ¡¥to be¡¦ process flowcharts and other documentation across end-to-end processes
- Interact with process improvement project teams to review and provide feedback on process maps and related documentation
- Participate in consolidation of user requirements for assigned processes and ensure program level follow-up for UAT
- Manage and update project plans with project leads
- Act as point of contact between process improvement teams and business analyst network
- Governance support for project and stream management
- Regularly track and report assigned activities, provide status updates and manage risks/issues
