Description
Our direct client is in need of a Senior QA Mainframe Tester for a long term contract position in Mayfield Village, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong testing background in test design, risk based testing, DB2, and Mainframe batch cycles. They'll have experience in simulating an overnight batch cycle in a testing environment using processes/tools that accelerate the cycle.
Overtime : straight time
- 4 years solid test planning and design skills
- Mainframe testing experience (knowledge of CICS, JCL, and other MF functions)
- 4 years using Quality Center for defect reporting and analysis
-Ability to conduct test risk analysis
-Good understanding of DB2 database services, SQL queries, views and stored procedures
-Experience with basic testing types, including Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services
