Description
Our client is a well known fortune-500 company with worldwide offices - they are seeking a contract UX/UI expert to design graphical user interfaces for the next release of their enterprise portal, including mobile GUIs. Candidate will actively engage business requirement analysts, system analysts, graphic designers, developers, QA teams and clientsThis role is ideally for a Feb start, but the client is interested in seeing qualified profiles of candidates who could start on a similar project launching in March.
Responsibilities
- Develop prototypes of designs, refining and changing them as needed
- Quality assurance and review of existing portal design and interface, including:
- persona reviews
- user tasks
- interactive flows
- template/page layout inventory
- Reactive design specifications and wireframes (from high resolution screens to mobile screens)
- Conduct usability labs and work with clients to understand the portal audience
- Participate in post production activities
Position Requirements
- a strong portfolio of cutting edge interface designs and typographical treatments
- 4+ years experience working experience
- experience with jQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX
- expert in photoshop, illustrator and UI tools, such as Balsamic, Axure, and iRise
- deploying CMS systems for large user base a plus.
