Our Client in Zurich is seeking an Oracle Senior Project Manager.The Oracle Senior Project Manager has the primary responsibility to manage the implementation of Oracle projects according to the defined and agreed scopes.
Main tasks/activities:
His/her responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Initiation, planning and implementation of Oracle projects,
· Work with the technical staff, management, providers, consultants and vendors to ensure all projects are tracked and delivered to the expected quality standards,
· Run project steering boards,
· Track issues and provide regular status updates, optionally maintain a sharepoint site containing up to date information,
· Facilitate and organize meetings (formally and informally).
Position requirements:
· End to end project management and coordination methodology,
· Proven Oracle experience in project management roles (3+ years preferred),
· Ability to define and execute projects with little supervision and according to a given framework,
· Ability to run Project Steering Boards,
· Ability to define and structure business cases,
· Experience in customer / client facing roles is advantageous,
· Proven experience in outsourcing environments,
· Comfortable working in a multicultural environment, working daily with multiple remote sites,
· Experience with technical documentation specification, review and updates - in English,
· ITIL knowledge,
· Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel, PowerPoint or MS Project,
· Pragmatic and hands-on personality, able to deliver to high quality standards and under time pressure,
· Provide structure and keep the overview in a dynamic and complex project,
· Fluent in German and English
