A Global Biopharmaceutical manufacturer based in Ireland is currently looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Lead to join their team on a contract basis during an exciting time of new projects.
The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operations Lead are as follows:
• Coordinating the start-up and ongoing day-to-day activities of the manufacturing facility; including that of the employees within the operations department.
• Responsible for operational readiness of the manufacturing area and associated processes; and support of commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities.
• Ensuring Quality and Safety (HSE) standards are adhered to and manufacturing is compliant with cGMP.
• Take a role in driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the site.
To fulfil these requirements for the Manufacturing Operations Lead you should have the following skills/experience:

• Previous experience of working within a highly regulated Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology automated manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP, MES, SCADA and PLC systems.
• Prior experience working within an aseptic Grade B or higher environment.
• Experience of autoclave and filtration processes.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
