Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for a good "all-rounder" software developer to support a strategic project in the area of Firm Wide Methodology, which provides a Windows Server 2008 based Firm Wide Risk platform for mathematical and statistical calculations. As a developer you are working closely with the project team and the infrastructure engineering teams.
Tasks
- Support in various UNIX and DB development tasks (Oracle, PL/SQL, Perl, KSH, Solaris packaging)
- Implementation and troubleshooting on Windows in PERL, BAT files, Powershell
- Assisting the third level support to end users of the platform with solving of problem tickets
Requirements
Must have:
- Several years of experience with UNIX (ideally Solaris/OLU in the banking environment)
- Several years of experience with PERL, Shell Scripting, Java
- Several years of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL programming
- English (spoken & written)
Nice to have:
- Solaris Packaging
- Oracle PKI
- Subversion
- Redwood Cronacle / JCS
- Windows Server 2008, Active Directory / Group Policy / Windows Firewall / IPSEC
- Citrix and Remote Desktop
- Matlab, SAS, R, Stata
- experience with Windows Server 2008
- experience with Java programming
- Windows Powershell, BAT scripts, VBScript
- German language
