Software, quality assurance, unit testing, integration testing, static analysis, code review, test tools, frameworks, embedded, c++, ood, ooa, oopWe have an immediate requirement for a cutting edge leading engineering client based just outside of Bristol. Our client is a flexible organisation that can offer a four day week and early/late start/finishes for the right candidate.
They require a quality assurance engineer with expertise in C++ with an in-depth knowledge of working in a CI (continuous integration) environment. Candidates must be excellent communicators with a genuine interest in best practice and innovations within software development.
Your role will be to mentor the junior QA engineers along with reviewing the software engineers C++ code. You will be heavily involved in the build, integration, test, release, configuration and quality assurance of the company's core software.
Essential skills:
- Quality assurance
- Unit testing (Preferably CPPunit)
- C++
- OOD/OOA
- Static analysis (Preferably QAC++)
- CI (Hudson, Jenkins, Cruise Control or similar)
