Description
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Work within the Technical Architecture team to perform system administration related activities include:
- Application and environment build
- Application patching and maintenance
- Code and configuration migration
- Data Migration
- Technical issue diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Support of functional and performance testing
SKILLS:
May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar and supported application on Unix and Windows
- WebLogic Administration
- Unix Shell Scripting
- SQL querying
- Oracle Utilities Application Framework, CC&B and MDM a plus
