Voice Operations Engineer - Investment Bank - 40-55KVoice Operations Engineer with past financial experience is required to join an investment bank based in the City of London.
Key Responsibility of a Voice Operations Engineer:
- Take key decisions in respect of the impact of the fault/change on users and the existing infrastructure
- Global 2nd/3rd line support with on-call support
- Supporting IPC & IPT environments
- Administration of NICE/Cybertech
- IPC Dealerboard Trading Systems including:
o Constructing Dealerboard profiles for IPC users.
o Setting up hoots, intercom lines, SIP, Q.SIG and ISDN trunks.
o Lifecycle upgrades including software and hardware
- Configuring conferencing features and services across IPC and IPT systems
Essential Experience of Voice Operations Engineer:
- CCNP Voice or equivalent experience
- ITIL knowledge and experience
- Past experience in Alliance MX
- Extensive Technical skills and troubleshooting experience of:
o Cisco Unified Communications Manager
o IPC IQ/Max Digital Turret System
o SIP, H.323, other media protocols
- Ability to perform packet captures/analysis for troubleshooting
- Experience of having worked in a global networks organisation
- Any understanding of firewalls such as:
o Juniper, Riverbed, Bluecoat and TMG firewalls
- Working within a ITIL environment
- Experience of enterprise wireless technologies
Salary - 40 - 55K (depending on experience) + Benefits
