SAP JVA Consultant (Team lead) - Rotterdam/Almere, The Netherlands
Background
Our consulting client is looking for an experienced SAP JVA consultant to assist in a greenfield SAP implementation a for a joint venture in the oil and gas industry. The deployment includes the following countries: Nigeria, Namibia, Gabon, Benin, Tanzania, Angola and The Netherlands. You will be reporting to the Finance lead.
The project duration is 12 months and will start in March 2014.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for defining the critical JVA processes to be supported by the system
*Design (together with the client) the joint venture accounting business processes
*Build/Configure the designed solution in SAP R/3
*Provide RIEF (Reports, Interface, Extensions, Forms) functional design.
*Provide supporting during testing and post go-live
*Work close with the Business Intelligence team to provide input regarding business reporting
Skills
*A Bachelor's and/or a Master's degree or equivalent, Ability to travel 5%, Strong configuration and design skills, Skilled as a team lead on at least 3+ full cycle implementations
*A functional/technical professional with at least 6+ full life cycle SAP R/3 implementation and 8+ years of industry or consulting experience.
*At least 8 years of experience implementing SAP FICO/JVA
*Oil and Gas experience preferred
*Adept at designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.
*Skilled as a team lead on at least 3+ full cycle implementations.
*A resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, and implementing practical business solutions under challenging deadlines.
*Able to collaborate with clients
*Strong configuration and design skills
*Due to demands of the role, a willingness to travel is required (typically 5%).
*Able to work with an offshore team
*A Bachelors and/or a Masters degree or equivalent
*Preferably SAP JVA Certified
*Excellent communication skills
*Good level of English and preferably Portuguese as well.
