Description
This position provides business system support for Learning Management System (LMS).Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding and supporting the SumTotal LMS suite platform to meet the business needs
- Coordinating and/or actively being engaged in various initiatives and projects in addition to the day-to-day operations
- Providing Level 3 support to end users for reported issues and inquiries
- Ensuring internal/external application patches and enhancement releases to be implemented with quality
- Working directly with clients to provide IT expertise to solve a business problem; Investigating alternatives and making solution recommendations
- Leading or participating in weekly and monthly operations review meetings with the clients as well as IT senior management
Skills/Experience Requirements
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills, the ability to handle multiple initiatives or requests simultaneously, strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work directly with the clients and vendor to manage expectations, the ability to work under hard deadlines.
- A total of 5-7 years of system/application support experience (minimum 3 years of experience as a senior level business systems analyst (BSA)
- At least 2 years of experience in eLearning system support as a BSA
- At least 3 years of experience working with web application preferred
- 2 years or more system support experience with SumTotal will be strongly preferred, but not required
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology or similar.
