ICT Specialist/6 months/Ghent, Belgium
For my client I'm urgently seeking for an ICT Specialist. In this role as an ICT Specialist you will be responsible for the following:
- You work in the role of Service Level Manager within the department "ICT Service Planning of the ICT Operations" for a number of assigned business domains. From within this responsibility:
- Making sure that ongoing ICT services can be offered as agreed with the customer
- That the service organization is properly equipped to fulfil the service
- Taking care of the Service Level Reporting to the customers
- Define and discuss the agreed services in a formal SLA document and keep it constantly up to date
- Representing your internal clients on the Change Advisory Board (CAB ) in order to preserve the quality and releases and to make sure changes can be done without disturbing the agreed services.
- Define the budget to deliver the ongoing ICT services
- Follow up the actual monthly expenses recorded and report/explain it to the your internal customers .
- Ensure a proper and transparent internal accounting system for the supporting services on the principle that the internal client pays for use (Activity Based Costing)
- Cater for a correct administration of the SLM framework in the supporting tool (LanDesk) in a way it is up to date at any moment according agreed SLA's
- Propose measures to improve ICT productivity of charged services eg elimination of unused means, critical review of license costs and underpinning contracts.
Required skills
- Master degree preferable in a commercial direction with specialization ICT
- Certification if ITIL
- Minimum 5 years in an environment with similar complexity
- Diplomatic, organizer, planner, with social and communication skills (both orally and in writing)
- Team player
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong responsibility and organizational skills to achieve step by step set goals
- Language: Dutch & English
