Description
Description Beacon Hill Technologies a long term project for an experience Cognos Tester. This is a 6-7 month project.
All candidates must be available to Skype interview!
Requirements
- Ability to write and run SQL queries
- Working knowledge of Cognos tools (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio) including demonstrable experience in using the same to fulfil business requirements
- Working knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts and structures
- Execute test cases to evaluate system quality compared to defined business requirements
- Document results of testing in the testing management tool
- Modify existing and create test cases as required based on requirements
- Identify and report defects for applications supported using proper procedures and tools
- Manage defect resolution process as needed
- Review requirements to evaluate accuracy and testability
- Actively participate in design review sessions
- Demonstrate creative thinking and identify ways to test beyond the obvious - a willingness to question the process and the requirements
- Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills through testing activities
