An exciting opportunity is currently available in Alicante, Spain for an English-speaking Software/IT Quality Performance and Risk Consultant. This position is located in the Public Sector.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Specific Requirements:

  • Proven experience in implementing a Quality Management System in IT for at least the last 8 years;
  • Proven experience in implementation and certification of ISO 9001;
  • Proven experience in the maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Systems in terms of:
    • Identification and management of non-conformities;
    • Design and follow up of preventive and corrective actions;
    • Analysis and follow up of survey results;
    • Follow up and improvement of the system through the analysis of Key Performance Indicators and customer feedback;
    • Awareness of the staff;
    • Direct communication with the management team;
    • Preparation to internal and external audits;
  • ISO 9001: 2008 certification;
  • good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies;
  • knowledge of project management tools (preferably with the tools specified by the Office, eg Clarity, Jira);
  • knowledge of MS Office, MS-Project and Visio and Remedy;
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing documents;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent reporting methods;
  • Proactive approach;
  • Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks, and ensuring that nothing is overlooked;
  • Proactive approach;
  • Ability to manage priorities.

Tasks:

  • Manage, under supervision, the successful implementation and maintenance of processes, as well as the co-ordination between the stakeholders, the established QMS, the certification organisation and Management to guarantee the maintenance of the certification acquired in 2013 within deadlines;
  • responsible for the alignment with the existing certified system;
  • Functional and technical meetings (organisation/moderation/participation/drafting of minutes);
  • Preparation of status reports/quality plan/other documentation;
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reports for senior management;
  • Support Risks and Issues management, reporting on performance and maintenance of the Action Log.

Language skills:

  • Excellent English (written/oral).
  • Basic Spanish skills.

This position is offered as a freelance contract with a duration of approx. 1 year.
